As I said below, I don't think the USA can score much. That being said, if it is true that Baros won't play, that's a BIG plus for our side. I hate these fast players, because as much as I love Gooch and Pope (who I think will be the 2 center backs), I don't think they are fast enough to deal with Baros. Anyway, I'll see if I can sneak away from work during the day to see it...

Well, you weren't off by much... Three goals in all. I thought the US will at least be competitive, but this was a disaster.
Yeah, I thought they would be competitive too. I was seriously considering whether to predict they would get shut out - in fact, I changed the post a couple of times as I made up my mind. But I never, ever thought they would look as bad as they did.
